I am looking forward to reading this book. @ Alice, I guess I know which books are going to be in my list for my personal summer reading.

I really enjoyed listening to the audio book. It was great after a day of school to be able to listen. I feel the staff and students in my school are what I want to be my tribe. Slowly, it is becoming the norm to incorporate 21st century skills in everyday practice. It's just a slow process. Ideally, I would love to have a mini tribe: collegial group that shares reading and ideas for a year . Then each person in that group starts their own tribe. Karl Fisch has successfully used this with the staff in his school. I think it could be quite powerful.

I'm off to Sugarloaf this weekend; not skiing so I'll have time to read and listen. Hope to have some thoughts soon.

We had strong interest - and a great start - among our third grade teachers to have their students begin blogging (mainly around literacy) - blogging in the hands of these talented teachers couldn't be more valuable, in my opinion. Then our admini...

Wow... changes. Is this happening on other nings? Where we once had some relatively connected google ads on the side of our ning, we now have match[dot]com ads where Seedlings can explore online dating? I hope this is a short lived anomaly. http:...
