I can see that this could get addictive!
So far i've used Audacity and Garageband to create podcasts.
But I do have to say that I really like the podcastpeople site as this would really allow the kids to podcast and publish them straight away to get feedback almost automatically. Rather than waiting for it to be uploaded for them!

Hi, I am from Austin, Texas, USA. This summer my husband is trying to decide whether to attend the Society of Biblical Literature Conference in Aukland in July (6th-11th). He has asked me if I would like to go. In the past I have connected with Schools and blogged where I have gone with him. It has been a great way of getting to know people and to learn beyond what I can see following him around!
I am wondering if you would be in school during that time and if we could collaborate on something interesting.
I am a Campus Technology Coordinator in an Elementary school (K-5th grade). The school will be on their summer vacation at the time, but maybe we could work on something that would continue when we return to school in the fall. I really am just starting to think about this. If you cannot do this maybe you know someone else who might be interested.
Here are links to the blogs I have done and also to our podcast which came out of the K12 Online conference when I joined Seedlings.
