what does your budget say about you?

Cross-posted on Ms Beane's Brain

Budgets were due way back, and mine looked thus: 10 Flip Cameras, please. Bean bag chairs, please. Enough construction paper and Sharpies to last a year, please. And that was it!

Storyboards, a comfortable place to work, a tool to work with. If I get my wish next year will be the year of the student film.

I don't teach film-making, I teach language. But Marco Torres in… Continue

Hi Amity,

Thanks for the input on detention. I like the way you think. However, we have teachers assigned to detention and they want absolutely no contact with the students. They are to come to detention with work or a book and not speak at all. We are in our trial stages of detention and we haven't met to discuss how it's gone so far but I think this is a mandatory disciplinary action we all need to take as teachers to make sure the students know we are serious about education and providing the best to all students without distraction that gets out of control.

I just read a number of your beanebrain posts. I would love to read more about how your student led conferences worked. Cross posting to Seedlings also contributes to the conversation here.

I decided not to apply this time, but next time I am going to plan to get my video done early enough to be viewed, critiqued and edited. Last time people saw some things that now I realize I should have edited, but I just didn't have time. Janice

WOW! I love how you used your kids in the movie. The only thing I can suggest about the sound (I think you can do this in iMovie '08) is in the sound bar at the bottom, you can adjust the volume with a little line. If you drag the line up, it will...
