Hi, Alice,
I just listened to your terrific interview with Michael Wesch. There were so many excellent points made that I am left with a lot to ponder! The Seedlings team did a fantastic job with the interview. Wesch is a complex thinker and is ca...
With your work in Education Technology and 21st Century Teaching, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
Hi, Beth,
So nice to participate in the conversation with you tonight on Seedlings. You certainly generated a lot of thing for us to pursue further. I am so appreciative of the archival sounds page; it will be a nice resource for use in school projects.
Welcome Beth, it's great to have you here. I hope you enjoy the conversation! I am very interested in learning more about your job as a 21st Century Teaching and Learning Specialist.
Beth, What a perfect statement! I really believe that when my children were young, babies, we spent each afternoon watching Sesame together and it was a magical time. It was just a perfect way to have "preschool" at home. I miss those moments. But, this reminded me of that early education. Thanks for joining our network. We are gearing up for k12online conference. Stay tuned.
Cheryl

I haven't run in to the match ads, so maybe they were short lived. I do wish they would get rid of the gift thing, I looked through the management options, and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Anyone else know how?

Kristin Tarnas I am looking for a way to get my class in a chat room during a lesson and wondering what would be a good and appropriate venue for this.
Clare,
Why on earth would the teachers be asked to stop blogging? Are they asked to stop having conversations? Are they asked to stop writing about things that matter to kids? How are teachers supposed to disregard one of the major communication f...
We had strong interest - and a great start - among our third grade teachers to have their students begin blogging (mainly around literacy) - blogging in the hands of these talented teachers couldn't be more valuable, in my opinion. Then our admini...
Wow... changes. Is this happening on other nings? Where we once had some relatively connected google ads on the side of our ning, we now have match[dot]com ads where Seedlings can explore online dating? I hope this is a short lived anomaly.
