I am a technology integration specialist for the York Elementary Schools. I work in two different schools, Village Elementary and Coastal Ridge Elementary. I work with students from Kindergarten to grade 4. I taught 3rd grade in Kennebunk for 7 years and developed a love for integrating my lessons with technology in the classroom. The SMART board has changed my way of thinking, and creating lessons for children.
I am trying to create a library for educators and parents, a user friendly website for students to play and interact with one another, and a curriculum content specific forum for both teachers and students. Here is what I have created so far; www.yorkschools.org/~elawson I am looking for any advise on organization, links, interactive features, etc. Please let me know what you think.
Also, let's connect sometime soon about your excellent movies on your site. I've recently started learning how to set up video as Flash in an embeded flash player which I think will serve your needs better --- all thanks to the support of David Perloff.
Eric,
That is why the ning is so important, this is where you find the enthusiasm, the support and the jazz. This is where I come if I have had a particularly challenging day. You are my peeps. Stop by anytime.

After realizing that yellow sticky notes, filled with "To Do" lists, were consuming his life, director Jeff Chiba Stearns decided to visually self-reflect on his own filmmaking journey by animating 2,300 of those same sticky notes. Blending hand-d...
