l'm a little confused. I uploaded the WAV file to podcastpeople, but when I went to listen to it, it's playing like it's on fast forward. I think I waited long enough for it to get the necessary conversion - and it doesn't have the spinning processing symbol either. However, when I downloaded the file back from the site, the MP3 file played fine from my computer. (The original WAV played fine on my computer too.) Anyway - go ahead and see if it works for you, and/or try downloading it and reposting it somewhere else?? Let me know how it turns out!

Kevin, the file worked fine for me - it opened automatically in iTunes when I clicked on it. I'm uploading to podcast people at the moment. If for some reason it doesn't work (file compatibility or whatever) I'll figure something else out. I'll let you know where to look when I get it up and running.
Kevin, Thanks for the invite yet I will be with Friends at Meeting for Worship at that time....will you post the conversation afterward? Hope you (all) are enjoying this glorious fall day.

Kevin, I'm game for Gizmo tomorrow morning. I got it installed, so I think I'm set. I haven't done a conference call through any of these kinds of things yet, so bear with me if things don't go smoothly. :) I'll dial the number you left at 10:30? If there's something else I should know, feel free to pass it along - I'll check the ning before I call.
Kevin, I enjoyed reading/ listening to your poems -- sparked my thinking about other ways to use podcasts w/ kids. Now that you are done with the poem a day, what's next for you?
I am a sixth grade teacher in Southampton, Massachusetts, and I am also the technology liaison for the Western Massachusetts Writing Project. That is a fancy title for someone who tries to help other teachers figure out how to integrate technology into their curriculum, usually through the lens of writing across the curriculum.
I am a writer, poet (same thing?), songwriter, saxophone-guitar player for a rock and roll band, and curious about the new tools of the Web 2.0 World.
I also have three young boys, a wife who is a school administrator and a hectic, yet fulfilling, life.
As part of the K12 Online presentation that I created (with my good friend, Bonnie) on a collaborative movie project, we created this VoiceThread and I want to invite you all into the mix. It makes sense since this is a way to integrate voice and pictures in an interesting way. I look forward to hearing your stories in our community alphabet.
I decided not to apply this time, but next time I am going to plan to get my video done early enough to be viewed, critiqued and edited. Last time people saw some things that now I realize I should have edited, but I just didn't have time.

Kristin Tarnas Gotta love google docs for getting parents to sign up for things!
Camilla, I agree with Cheryl - go see Serena Offcourse on Blackbear Island. She's great and knows all the ins and outs. She's got great style sense too! --Sarah (Syra Saeed in SL, edueyeview on twitter)
I'm @edubeacon on Twitter. Your recent Seedlings podcast has me thinking of giving Second Life another go. On there I'm Millie Brink - on the brink and very much the amateur!
WOW! I love how you used your kids in the movie. The only thing I can suggest about the sound (I think you can do this in iMovie '08) is in the sound bar at the bottom, you can adjust the volume with a little line. If you drag the line up, it will...
Hi! I'm applying to be a Google Certified Teacher. I had seen some posting on here last year where other Google Certified Teachers gave comments on applicants' videos. I would love some feedback! Here's the link to my video: http://www.youtube.com...
Do you want to learn about using Google Earth in your Classroom? Thomas Cooper, a Google Certified Teacher is going to be teaching a monthly session. This is a great opportunity to see Google Earth.
