Hi, Mark,
I left two extended comments on Bob Sprankle's page where he had your link to the Integration of Technology moderated by Nellie Deutsch. I found it very helpful.
When I get a chance, I'll check out the WiziQ application. I didn't use that for the stream because of the log in feature, but Nellie supplied a different link since the one on WiziQ seemed to be giving people problems.
Thanks again for the link to the presentation. I plan on following up on a lot of the info I got from watching it.
Thank you Mark! I did check out both WiziQ and Authorstream. They are both great tech tools. I think I'm on option overload right now! There is so much possible in teaching and learning....but there is also so much required both by the state and by my school that is counter-productive to good teaching and learning. Maybe the things I learn here will help me to meet the requirements of my district while also meeting the needs of my students who will graduate into a 21st century job market. You would think that these would be the same requirements...but they don't always seem to be.

We had strong interest - and a great start - among our third grade teachers to have their students begin blogging (mainly around literacy) - blogging in the hands of these talented teachers couldn't be more valuable, in my opinion. Then our admini...
Wow... changes. Is this happening on other nings? Where we once had some relatively connected google ads on the side of our ning, we now have match[dot]com ads where Seedlings can explore online dating? I hope this is a short lived anomaly.
