A Compelling Reason for Change!

Usually, we expect the photo to tell a story, a good image is worth 1,000 words.

The set up for the photo. A family party, my 81 year old Mom, my brother and his wife from Virginia unable to make the trip. The computer placed right on the kitchen counter, in the middle of the food, the middle of 28 family mem… Continue

Universal Design for Graduation

This is our season in North America for graduations from high school and universities. On May 9, 2009 I attended the graduation ceremony at University of Maine where we were able to observe the transparency of how to use assistive technology for the masses.
We were in a huge auditorium, and as most graduations there were many graduates, guest speakers, pomp and circumstance. In the far end of the photo you can see a blue screen near the ceiling with yellow words, this screen streamed the text as… Continue

Thanks Cheryl, was great to you hear as well on Bob's Big 100th Bit by Bit podcast. I'm so impressed and amazed with you, Bob and Alice have done with Seedlings. It will take we a while to take it all in.

I loved Alice's line in the 2008 Keynote K12 video the three of you did - I just now saw it - on the UStream: "Let's give our names first, then the revolution can begin."
